God’s Discovery Club:
The Club for kids in grades K-5th!
Wednesday nights at 7PM
The club is a church sponsored weekly program for boys and girls. This Christ-centered program integrates spiritual and personal development. It evangelizes and teaches discipleship. It also gives children opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, have fun and develop Christian values that affect every area of their lives. Over the course of the club year, the children will memorize bible verses and earn bible and skill awards. The children receive a club T-shirt to display all their awards on.
We start the club night out with singing our theme song – “Thy Word is a Lamp unto Our Feet”, we take prayer requests and pray with the children, review our memory verse for our bible award, work in our handbooks, and then we work on our skill award (which includes various crafts, woodworking, cooking, art projects, etc.) We usually end the night with game time and a light snack.
